We invite you to participate in the “TBD International Laboratory Medicine Summit” which will be held at the Atatürk University Cultural Center in Erzurum between October 28th and 31st this year.

As you know, every year at the end of October, we hold our national congress to celebrate Republic Day. However, this year, since we held the international FEBS 2025 congress in Istanbul between July 5th and 9th, which included the announcements of 2200, we are holding a different congress. Therefore, the name of this event in Erzurum has been determined as the “TBD International Laboratory Medicine Summit,” reminiscent of our beautiful Erzurum and its majestic Palandöken Mountain.

Preparations for our event are underway.

The summit will also be supported by our main federations, IFCC and EFLM. The scientific program has been revised. It includes participation from IFCC and EFLM, Turkic Republics, and numerous other players. You can also include satellite symposia of IVD companies in the scientific program. As we always do at our congresses, you can include courses/workshops before or during the summit as part of the scientific program. As always, registration and/or accommodation scholarships are available for our young colleagues who actively participate in this important international event. Abstracts of the papers presented at the event will be published in the Turkish Journal of Biochemistry, the official publication of TBD, which is indexed in the Science Citation Index-Expanded.

We invite you to our beautiful Erzurum, at the foot of Palandöken, to share your knowledge and experiences, to meet and exchange information with future generations from abroad, regional countries, mainly Turkic Republics, and the rest, and to support the events and social enrichment.  

This year also marks the 50th anniversary of the Turkish Biochemistry Association. This is extremely important for us, for all biochemists. Come and join us at another international event that will leave a mark on our 50th anniversary.
